Lauren Weeks Photography

I'd like to introduce a friend. Lauren of Lauren Weeks Photography and I have been friends a short time but we definitely click in more ways than one (yes that was a pun and yes I totally kill myself with my amazing humor). Lauren was one of my photographers at my wedding and definitely captured my day in a style that fit what I was envisioning. It was amazing to be able to sit back and know that she was capturing my memories. What they say is SO true: the day flies by so quickly and before you know it, you're running through bird seed with your lover's hand in yours, making your escape to the car. And you suddenly think...I'm married? Wait, how did that happen SO fast? It's amazing really.

I truly appreciate Lauren's eye for photographer. She definitely has a leg up (if not several steps as well as a leg up) on her grasp of photography vs. mine but I hope to learn much from her. She recently started a blog and wrote an entry about my wedding day that was really sweet and touching. Check out her blog here. Lauren and I have found ourselves on the same path: both interested in photography and going professional, both married to Marines who fly in Prowlers, both having recently relocated to North Carolina...you get the picture. I hope to get to know her better as we take a photography class together (YAY!) and just hangout in general. Yay for friends with similar interests!
